Description

I fish these big poppers in spring and summer. For largemouth I target shade and quiet pockets in the cattails. For smallmouth I target them on rocky points and gravel flats.

Tying Process

Trailing hook- Latch several feathers to hook. Add favorite flash. Wrap chenille up body. Finish with palmered schlappen feather. Main hook- I prefinish my heads on the hook with 2 coats of epoxy on the spinning wheel. Then attsch trailing hook uses standard technique. Few wraps of marabou feather. Body chenille. Schlappen feather. Rubber legs two different colors. Schlappen feather.
