Brown BiVisible
By Edward Ringwood Hewitt, submitted by Mike Cline.
Description
The Brown BiVisible was developed by Edward Ringwood Hewitt for Catskill trout under low light conditions. The White or lightly colored front hackle made the fly much easier to see at dawn or dusk. Ray Bergman in Trout (1952) described six variations Hewitt tied on the BiVisible style.
