Description

This is one of only a few bucktail patterns that Carrie Stevens came up with. It is straightforward to tie except for the banded head. I have an upcoming trip that I wanted some bucktail streamers for.

Materials

• Body: Flat Silver Tinsel
• Head: Black with orange center band
• Thread: Black and orange head
• Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed
• Thread: White underbody
• Throat: White buck tail with white schlappen throat and sides
• Wing: Orange bucktail with brown bucktail on top

Hooks

• 3-4X long streamer
