The Wrong Train
By GAT.
Description
During my steelhead fishing days I always use a two fly presentation. A light pattern and a dark pattern. This is the dark pattern. I call it The Wrong Train because when I first tied it I was trying to tie a Freight Train by Randall Kaufman. I screwed up and used yellow floss instead of orange for the butt end of the body. I used the fly anyway and to my surprise, it works quite well when steelhead are taking dark patterns.
