Cockroach Deceiver
By Lefty Kreh, 1950s, submitted by Mike Cline.
Description
Lefty Kreh created the Deceiver style in the 1950s for striped bass but the effective baitfish style quickly adapted itself to all manner of saltwater and freshwater targets. The Cockroach Deceiver became very effective around Mangrove structure for snook and other inshore targets. The barring of the grizzly hackle tail and overall brown coloring does a good job of replicating any baitfish with strong barring.
