"Another bugger? WTF?!". That's what you're thinking, admit it. But MingoBuggers are different in key ways. Zero flash. Examine a sculpin or darter or crayfish and note how many strands of krystal flash are hanging from it's asspipe. Zero. I use longer webby hackle for maximum movement and a tantalizing bellydance. If this fly was wiggling on a stripper stage, you'd be shoving $1s at it all night. And you can enhance the seductivity by doing a jiggle-jaggle with your rod hand to make it dance even more!

Tying Process

I tie these in all kinds of sizes and color combos, but my Kona Coffee version is a favorite. grab some chocolate brown hackle, black coffee colored yarn and brown hackle that seems a bit too long for the fly. It won't be. Do NOT add any flash! I use dark brown thread like Ultra Thread 210. You can taunt your skunked buddies by loudly shouting "Another one! Fuck yeah!" as you fight another leviathan while they pout and silently plot your demise.
