Description
I got the idea for this fly from a friend who watched Mad River Outfitters YouTube video (thanks Brian for sharing a really good carp fly).
Hooks
- "clump" natural rabbit fur from magnum strip
- 3.8 mm copper bead
- 7 turns .020 lead
- TMC2302
- UTC 70 dark brown
- Under hackler:two turns of pheasant rump with fibers stripped from one side
- crawdub or anything buggy (tan colored)
- oval gold
- size 10
- two strips copper flashabou on each side of tail
