Description

The Fourth of July Deceiver is an adaptation of the Lefty Kreh Deceiver style emphasizing a patriotic theme of the Red, White and Blue. The pattern is very productive for trout, warmwater and saltwater targets. Because of its patriotic theme, it is exceptionally useful during the following calendar events: Flag Day (June 14), Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Marine Corps Birthday (November 10), US Air Force Birthday (September 18), US Army Birthday (June 14), US Navy Birthday (October 13), US Coast Guard Birthday (August 4) and Space Force Birthday (December 20). Unweighted, designed to be used with long sink tips and short (3-4’), stout (OX) tippets.

Materials

• Body: White bucktail + variegated blue/silver Crystal Flash, flat pearl braid, red and pearl silicon legs
• Head: White thread colored with deep red marker. 3D blue/pearl eyes —8mm to 4mm. Coated with UV resin
• Thread: UTC 140 White
• Wing: Top wing - Red bucktail underlaid with white, barred blue marabou
