Confused

Description

This is bright, but I like it in a #4 old school Mustad 36890 or any regular wire steelhead hook. I like it as a fall pattern for desert steel, but would probably put the hurt on chum and pinks.

Materials

• Body: Red ostrich herl
• Body: Silver wire ribbing
• Hackle: Red guinea
• Tag/Tail: Purple saddle
• Wing: Claret saddle tips
• Wing: Krystal Flash #22 dark purple

Hooks

• Steelhead turned up eye

Target species: Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Steelhead

Fly types: Salmon/Steelhead
