Description

The Minch Stonefly pattern was developed by Matt Minch of Gardiner, Montana between 1989-1992 based on the style of the Brooks Montana Stone to target stonefly nymphs post runoff in high gradient Yellowstone and Montana rivers.

Materials

• Body: Small to medium Estaz chenille
• Body: Tan Dubbing
• Hackle: Brown Grizzly or Furnace
• Head: Black or Gold bead
• Tail: Clipped brown marabou or chickabou

• Firehole 811 Barbless Streamer
