Perch Fry
By Pat Burdick, submitted by Buzzy.
Description
I was fishing a large Columbia Basin lake using two chironomids beneath a quick release strike indicator, about half the time the indicator went down I'd have a rainbow trout, the other half of the time it was a perch. I had this "aha" moment wondering if the bigger trout might eat small perch or perch fry..... I came up with this rather un-perch looking fly
